About Us
What started out as a hobby soon turned into a vocation following a day out at Santa Pod Raceway to watch some drag racing. I was fortunate to capture a Dragster exploding in spectacular fashion, which was then picked up by the national press. From that day on I knew I had to take pictures on a full time basis. After stints as an assistant to a successful photographer and as a staff photographer, www.PicturesbyRob.co.uk was formed. That first published picture was taken at the age of seventeen and now working from my own studio premises I cover a wide variety of work, from corporate commercial work, high end weddings, portraiture, and press work. Which has taken me all over the globe shooting pictures which have been used worldwide in books, magazines and advertisements.
During this time I have gained Fellowships of both the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Master Photographers Association, along with Qualified European Photographer status. I have won over one hundred professional awards including the Title of Nikon Industrial Photographer of the year in association with the Professional Photographers of America, and the Prestigious Peter Grugeon Award for the best Fellowship Panel of the year. Along with many other International, national and regional awards.
